Using My Time

I wish I was on my way

So, I'm figuring out that I definitely like being a snob. Only the finest for me. The finest wine, the finest beer, the finest bread, the finest cheese, meats, teas, liquors. etc. And not only do I demand the finest things, I also am forced to look down upon those who do not consume the finest things. I often find myself shaking my head in shame at what my friends and roommates choose to consume and I of course feel obligated to point out how what I consume is far superior to the crap they are dining on.

As you might image there is some difficulty in living this sort of lifestyle while earning a mere $6.40 an hour. This doesn't stop me from trying, and I usually can accomplish it a couple days out of the week before I am forced to go to Wendy's or some other cheap take-out place. While it is true that I am currently having trouble living the lifestyle I wish to, I am making strides to beable to live that dream-like life sometime in the near future. I have officially entered into the world of a stock and bond holder. Last week I invested $400 in a bond mutual fund and a stock mutual. The comission for these two purchases were $4 a piece, so after the purchases I had $392 in investments.

As of the end of trading today I portfolio was worth $388.74, meaning that in a little more than 1 week I have lost $3.26. This isn't really bringing me much hope that I will beable to one day live the lifestyle that I have come to love. I guess the only thing I can do is invest more money in the hope that one day I will stop losing it.
