64-bits of raw computing power
I did it. I went and built my computer. I am now using a brand spanking new computer running Windows Vista 64-bit version. Now you may be wondering what the difference between the 32-bit version and 64-bit version. Honestly I don't really know, but 64 is a larger number than 32, so it must be better.
Now, I absolutely love my new computer. It is absolutely amazing. Vista is quite a bit better than XP. But why is it so much better than my laptop? Well, one thing is that while I am typing this I am watching T.V. No, I'm not in the living room, I am watching live televion on my screen in a window right next to where I am typing this. One problem I do have is that I feel like I won't be putting it to it's full use. For instance, my harddrive capacity is about 300 gb, but even after I transfer all of my music and picutures, and other files from my laptop, at most I will only be using about 30 gigs, which is only 10% of capacity. So I guess I'll have to start editing movies or something. Maybe I'll make a documentary about something. Of course that means I'll have to get a new video camera, but I suppose I could live with that.
Well I gotta go and explore Vista some more, I hope you all have a fantastic day.
